Privacy Policy
FameUp has no visitor accounts. We collect only what we need to run the leaderboard, and we delete it on a fixed schedule.

Who we are
FameUp (fameup.me) is responsible for the data described here. Contact us at info@fameup.me for anything about your data.
What we collect
- Your entry — name, username, category, headline, bio, city/country, photos and links you choose to add. Entries are public by design.
- Email address (optional) — only if you give one: used for your private edit link and receipts. Never shown publicly, never sold. Our payment provider may also share the buyer's email with us for the payment record.
- Payments — amount, currency, status, date and payment reference numbers. Card details are handled by Dodo Payments and never reach us.
- Anonymous analytics — counts of profile views, shares and link clicks. Visitors are identified only by a salted code that changes every day; we don't store IP addresses or build profiles of visitors.
- Reports — the reason and details you give when reporting an entry. Reports are anonymous.
How we use it
- To show entries and rankings, and to take and record payments.
- To email receipts, rank updates and edit links.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, moderate content, and meet legal and accounting duties.
We don't sell data, show ads, or use advertising trackers.
What is public
Entries, ranks, totals and activity such as “claimed #3” are public. Email addresses and payment details are private. When someone boosts an entry, the entry owner sees the amount but not who paid.
How long we keep data
We delete data automatically on this schedule:

| Private edit (manage) links | Emailed links expire after 30 days; the browser that paid is remembered for 365 days. Expired links are deleted. |

If FameUp ever closes, we'll give at least 30 days' notice (see the Terms), send owners a copy of their entry data on request, and then delete personal data except records we must keep by law.
Cookies
- Edit-link cookie — remembers which entries this browser can edit. Strictly necessary; set only when you pay or open an edit link.
- Admin sign-in cookie — only for FameUp administrators.
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Who processes data for us
Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Dodo Payments (payments, merchant of record) and Resend (email). They process data only to provide their service to FameUp and may do so in other countries, including the United States, under their own safeguards.
Your rights
You can edit your entry any time with your edit link. To delete your entry, or to access, correct or get a copy of your data, email info@fameup.me from the address used for the entry. We reply within 30 days.
Children
FameUp is not for children. You must be 18 or over to pay, and entries must not be about anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and announce important changes on the site.
