1. What FameUp is

FameUp (fameup.me — “FameUp”, “we”, “us”) is a public leaderboard for people. Anyone can create an entry with their name, photo, bio and links, and anyone can pay to move an entry up the ranking. A payment buys one thing: visibility on the FameUp leaderboard.

Paying for FameUp visibility affects your position on the FameUp leaderboard. It does not guarantee followers, engagement, sales, fame, or any specific result.

FameUp is not an auction, lottery, bet, game of chance, investment or marketplace. There are no prizes, winnings, tokens or returns. A position on FameUp has no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged.

2. Who can take part

• Anyone may browse FameUp. To pay, you must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) and authorised to use the payment method.
• You must not use FameUp where the law, or sanctions, forbid it.
• Give us accurate details. An email address is optional — if you add one, we use it for your private edit link and FameUp receipts.

3. No accounts — your private edit link

• FameUp has no sign-up or login for visitors. You enter everything — name, bio, links and look — before checkout. If you add an email, we send you a private “manage link” to edit later, and the browser you paid with is remembered.
• Without an email, only the browser you paid with can edit the entry; otherwise contact us for changes.
• Anyone holding that link can edit the entry, so keep it private. You are responsible for what happens through it.
• Lost it? Request a fresh link at fameup.me/manage using the same email. Emailed links work for 30 days; a new one can be requested any time.
• An entry belongs to whoever controls the email address used to create it. In a dispute we may ask for reasonable proof.
• One entry per person. Entries are for individuals — not companies, brands, products or organisations.

4. Claiming and boosting

• Claiming creates a new entry. It becomes public after payment is confirmed and our team has approved it. Your payment counts toward the ranking from the moment it's confirmed.
• Boosting adds to an existing entry's total. Anyone can boost any public entry — their own or someone else's — by its @username. Boosting gives no right to edit or control that entry.
• An owner cannot block boosts, but can ask us to remove their entry (section 10).

5. How positions are decided

• Positions are set only by confirmed payments, as described in the FameUp Rules. Higher totals rank higher; equal totals are ordered by who reached them first.
• Today's ranking resets daily at 00:00 (UTC). The all-time ranking never resets. Every payment counts toward both.
• Rankings change whenever anyone pays. The rank shown before checkout is an estimate; your actual rank is calculated when payment is confirmed.
• No position is guaranteed to last for any length of time.

6. Prices and payment

• You choose the amount, in whole USD, currently from $1 to $999,999. The price is shown before you pay.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record and handles applicable sales tax/VAT (included in the price). Your statement may show “Dodo Payments”. We never receive your card details.
• Bank, card or currency-conversion fees charged by your provider, and any taxes that apply to you, are your responsibility.
• We may change the minimum, maximum, increment, currency and daily-reset settings. Changes apply to future payments only.

7. No refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable — including when your rank later changes, when the daily ranking resets, when you change your mind, or when an entry is removed for breaking these terms. The only exceptions are a duplicate charge for one checkout, or a confirmed payment we failed to apply to the leaderboard; contact us and we'll put it right. If a payment is reversed through a dispute or chargeback, that amount is removed from the leaderboard. See the Refund Policy.

8. How long your entry stays

• Paid entries do not expire. Your entry, its all-time total and its history stay on FameUp for as long as FameUp operates, unless you ask us to remove it or it is removed under section 10.
• Daily rankings are archived permanently in the daily archive while FameUp operates.
• How long we keep other data is set out in the Privacy Policy.

9. If FameUp ever closes

We intend to run FameUp for the long term. Like any online service, though, we can't promise it will operate forever. If we ever decide to close FameUp, we will:

• announce it on the site and email entry owners at least 30 days before the closing date;
• keep entries and rankings visible until that date; and
• send entry owners a copy of their entry data on request.

Because a payment buys visibility while FameUp operates, a closure does not by itself entitle anyone to a refund, except where the law where you live requires one. We may also change, add or remove features at any time.

10. Content rules, moderation and removal

You must follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, never submit or link to:

• sexual content, or anything that sexualises or endangers anyone under 18;
• impersonation, or someone else's photo or personal details without permission;
• hate, harassment, threats, or promotion of violence or self-harm;
• illegal goods or activity, drugs, weapons, gambling, scams, phishing, malware or misleading claims;
• anything that infringes someone else's rights, including copyright and trademarks.

We may review, edit, hide, suspend or remove any entry, photo or link at our discretion — including after a report — with or without notice. Removed or suspended entries are not refunded. To ask for your own entry to be removed, or to report an entry that uses your identity, email info@fameup.me from the relevant address.

11. Your content and licence

• You keep ownership of the name, photos, text and links you submit.
• You give FameUp a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, resize and share that content as part of running and promoting FameUp (for example on leaderboards, share images and social posts) for as long as it is on FameUp.
• You confirm you have the rights to everything you submit and that it is accurate and lawful.

12. Fair use of the service

Don't interfere with FameUp: no large-scale scraping, bots or automated payments, no fake or stolen payment methods, no attempts to manipulate rankings other than genuine payments, and no attempts to access other people's edit links or our systems.

13. FameUp's property

The FameUp name, logo, design and software belong to us. These terms don't give you any right to use them other than to use FameUp as intended.

14. Disclaimers

FameUp is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that an entry will be seen by any particular number of people, or that appearing on FameUp will lead to followers, engagement, sales, fame or any other result. Entries are written by the people who create them, not by FameUp.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, FameUp is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, reputation or data. Our total liability for any claim about FameUp is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

16. Indemnity

You agree to cover FameUp's reasonable losses and costs caused by your content or your breach of these terms, including claims by others that your entry infringes their rights.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date shows the current version, and important changes will be announced on the site. Using FameUp or paying after a change means you accept the updated terms.

18. General

• If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
• These terms, together with the Rules, Guidelines, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and FameUp about the service.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the place where FameUp's operator is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
